We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. Deviousness
Although `DEVlANT joined our community only a year ago, he's made sure to make his mark in as many ways as possible. Critiques
Sort of reminds me of a Tim Burton rendition of 'Lady Death'. The pose and her cold stare are rather captivating. I also like the effect of the flower prints on her leg and the roses on her scythe add to the whole 'foreboding yet alluring' effect.
Couple things I might have done differently. The scythe's blade I think should be pointing outward, the candy skull she's siting on looks like it's at an odd angle. Her hair also seems to be a bit 'stiff'. But then maybe that's what you were going for.
Other than that, I can't think of anything else I'd change.
