Description

Another in my Hot Rod paintings, although not specifically a "hot rod", the classic VW beetle has to go down as one of the coolest cars ever created. I mean its the car that smiles at you, you're never angry at a VW beetle
24x18 acrylic
and the green guy along with the background motif came from a flat stamp found in Tlatilco, Mexico

The magnificent combination of an ethnic background and the use of the VW beetle appeals to the recognition between a mexican population. The work itself reflects an incredible type of art created with the simplicity of the car and the warmth of the colors. There are almost no straight lines throughout the image, and the proportion of their elements coincides with the perspective in a pretty good way. The hue and the saturation are great, although there is a little detail: a figure in the bottom righthand corner does not match with the rest of the background. Anyway, if someone wants to find a simple word to describe the entire work, it would be "Mexico". Definitely awesome.
